Nope, winter doesn't stop me. I headed into Yellowstone with a friend today to paint. The spot we chose was a little precarious - a footbridge over the Lamar River.
I definitely had to curtail my tendancy to step back a lot to look at my painting progress! But other than that, it was a great location.
You can't paint snow unless your feet are cold. So we did manage that! We had it all to ourselves... Well, just us, the dipper, the ducks and the herd of bison that walked by.
And, we had some amazing wildlife sightings while scoping out our spot...
Just another day plein air painting in Yellowstone...
Someone has to do it :)
